Why normalized data keeps features flexible

Categories, tags, and reactions become easier to evolve when their relationships are explicit.

A feature often starts with a simple field and grows into a reusable concept. Categories need descriptions, tags need filtering, and reactions need consistent behavior across posts and comments. Separate tables and relationships give each concept a clear home. Normalization is not about making a schema complicated. It is about keeping changing ideas from becoming hidden text inside unrelated records.
